Calling all Cruisers! Let's get away from the dock!
Whether you're new to cruising and want to learn the basics, or are an experienced cruiser with stories and information to share (or anyone in between), join Jeff & Diane Morris on Sunday July 14, and July 20-21 to discuss and practice Basic Cruising Skills.
Join us on a two-weekend adventure in honing your Cruising Skills. We will spend our first Sunday afternoon (July 14) discussing and practicing various subjects that will make your cruising more enjoyable. Topics covered will be anchoring and stern tying, route planning, provisioning, along with many other cruising related items. The following weekend (July 20, 21) we will put theory to practice with a cruise to Reid Harbor on Stuart Island.
We will meet at noon on Sunday July 14 at the OIYC picnic shelter and spend the afternoon discussing cruising topics followed with a demonstration of anchoring and stern tying techniques. A potluck/BBQ will follow.
The following weekend, July 20, we will cruise to Reid Harbor, stern tie, and spend the weekend hiking, kayaking, and discussing cruising options in the PNW.
Contact Jeff at email@example.com, to reserve your spot for this fun, low-pressure cruise.
