These wild flowers are out on Yellow Island, which is at the West end of the Wasp Islands. It is well worth a trip over to see. You can go see them too, land on the South beach but watch for rocks. Take a chart along.
On May 4th we took our sailboat Time Bandit down to Astoria Oregon for the sailboat race called the Oregon Offshore. That race is the 200 miles from the mouth of the Columbia River to the harbor at Victoria, BC.
