This year we have the use of the "Party Barge" from 5 until 9. It is 40ft by 40ft, is covered, and has side curtains to keep the wind down. On the barge there will be a hot six foot BBQ grill for your use. FHSC will provide BBQ tools, paper plates, napkins, and utensils. Bring your own meet to grill, or whatever, as you wish. There will be seating for about 100 people with some additional room to stand and hang-out. Because the seating is limited we expect folks to make room for those who are eating. Last year there was a steady turn over on the barge over the course of the evening. If you get in early it would nice to get started early. “Race Headquarters” will be on the barge. You may also bring your own beverages be they alcoholic or not. All “open containers” must remain on the docks. You may not take your own alcoholic drinks past the ramp! Please lets not have a problem with this rule. Be sure all of your crew understand the rule about no alcohol past the docks. Another popular option for food and drink for those who have rented a condo unit is to cook there. You can even opt for a cab ride to Friday Harbor for dinner if you so choose. Please do stop by later at the barge or bar to check the race results and to party with the fleet. |
